Barrow AFC have officially signed versatile forward Olly Crankshaw ahead of the 2026/27 League Two campaign. The 26-year-old arrives at Holker Street with a proven track record in the EFL and National League, including promotion successes with Stockport County.
Who is Olly Crankshaw?
Born in Preston, Crankshaw began his career at Preston North End before gaining senior experience in non-league with Clitheroe FC, Colne FC, and Curzon Ashton. His performances at Curzon Ashton earned him a move to Wigan Athletic in 2020, where he made 25 appearances.
What does he bring to Barrow?
Crankshaw’s pace, versatility, and goal-scoring ability make him a key addition. He scored 10 goals during Stockport County’s 2021/22 National League title-winning season and contributed nine goals for Altrincham FC last term. Manager Adam Murray praised his creativity and character.
