Barrow Manager Calls for 'Soft Underbelly' to be Removed After 2-1 Loss

Barrow lost 2-1 to Hornchurch in the National League, a four-minute collapse that left the Bluebirds looking for their first points of the campaign. Manager Adam Murray said he must cut the team’s “soft underbelly” after the defeat.

Murray stressed that possession alone does not win games. He added that the team’s mindset needed a complete overhaul, describing the current mentality as “fearful” and lacking “fire” and “desire.” He noted that the club has a healthy budget for the league, but much of it is being spent on players who are not good enough.
