Barrow will play at home against Gloucester City in the Emirates FA Cup's Fourth Qualifying Round. The match is set for the weekend of 17 October at their stadium.
Adam Murray's team approaches this cup game in very good condition, having secured victories in their four most recent National League fixtures. They currently hold ninth position in the standings.
Gloucester City's recent drop
Gloucester City, who moved down from the National League system in the previous campaign, now play in the Southern Football League. This offers Barrow a traditional cup test against an opponent from a lower tier.
Barrow's strong form
Barrow's current run of results features four straight wins.
The club’s official website states: "All match arrangements, including the confirmed date, kick-off time and ticket information, remain to be finalised." It adds: "Supporters are asked to keep an eye on the Club’s official website and social media channels for further updates." Full details for the FA Cup tie will be released there in due course.
