Barrow secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Wealdstone with a stoppage-time winner from Keaton Ward. The result on Saturday extends their winning streak to four National League games and lifts them to ninth place with 18 points from 12 matches.
Rory Harper opened the scoring for the hosts in the 23rd minute, finishing from a cross by Charlie Edwards. The lead lasted just three minutes before Rhys Maher equalised for the visitors, converting a pass from Freddie Okenabirhie.
The second half saw Barrow miss a chance to retake the lead when a penalty from Alfie Reid was saved in the 69th minute. The match appeared headed for a draw until deep into added time. Substitute Keaton Ward, who had entered the game just two minutes earlier, found space on the edge of the box and fired home the decisive goal in the 95th minute.
It was a physical contest that produced eight yellow cards. Barrow's Sam Thompson, George Walker and Xavier Benjamin were all cautioned, while Wealdstone saw five players booked.
The win continues Barrow's excellent recent form, which includes victories over Scunthorpe, Southend and Aldershot Town. They now prepare for an away trip to face 18th-placed Tamworth next Saturday, aiming to extend their positive run.
Barrow manager Adam Murray confirmed that Wealdstone's Dylan Kadji was sent off in the second half of Saturday's 2-1 win. Kadji, already on a yellow card, was dismissed for pulling down Thierry Latty-Fairweather just before the hour mark. The club's match report also stated that Rekeem Harper's opening goal was a volley from a Corey Edwards corner, his fourth goal in as many games. Barrow, now ninth with 18 points, face Tamworth next Saturday.
