Barrow have completed the signing of defender Lewis Shipley from Norwich City on a two-year contract, with the option for an additional 12 months. The 21-year-old full-back, who spent 15 years in Norwich’s academy, moves to Holker Street after his Carrow Road exit this summer.

Lewis Shipley arrives with EFL experience, having featured for Accrington Stanley and Cheltenham Town on loan. Though he never made a senior appearance for Norwich City, he played over 80 times for their U21 side, including seven games in the 2024/25 season under Olly Lee.
